Joseph Ochego

As the Graphic Designer at Close the Gap, I develop creative design solutions that support the organisation's branding, marketing, and communication objectives. My responsibilities include creating a wide range of visual communication materials for both digital and print platforms, including marketing collateral, social media content, email graphics, branding assets, packaging, and promotional materials. I work closely with cross-functional teams to produce engaging designs that maintain brand consistency and effectively communicate key messages. In addition to design production, I coordinate creative execution by collaborating with external vendors, preparing artwork for production, and ensuring high-quality delivery across various branding and marketing initiatives. Through this role, I continue to strengthen my expertise in branding, visual communication, print production, creative project coordination, and collaborative problem-solving while contributing to the organisation's overall creative strategy.

Provide creative and art direction to produce messaging and designs for banners, posters, social media, and publications.

Collaborate with global clients to create purpose-driven branding, print, and digital design experiences.

Created detailed computer-aided designs and drawings for machine parts, repairs, and machining.

Implemented website features using Figma and Redwood JS, increasing agency engagement. Designed and prototyped a problem-solving platform from scratch.

Provided data management services for the county government.
